Riello’s 600 kVA UPS system – belonging to the NextEnergy (NXE) range of power conditioning products – can bring great value to IT infrastructure and data centre installations
Riello Power India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Riello Power Solutions, Italy, has launched a 600 kVA UPS system belonging to the NextEnergy (NXE) range of power conditioning products. This NextEnergy range expansion aims to power increasingly large critical workloads such as data centres, colocation, transport, telecommunications, industries, banks, financial and insurance centres.
The three-phase 600 kVA model guarantees a reliable power supply and always ensure regularity of service (business continuity), essential for managers of critical applications. The UPS system can operate in different operating modes, achieving optimized energy consumption in all circumstances. The new 600 kVA product offers an advanced interface and control system to easily manage this innovative energy storage technology. Lithium batteries have an effective life cycle of approximately twice (8-10 years) that compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, reduced maintenance costs, can operate effectively at temperatures up to 60° C, and are lighter, which makes the installation easier.
The system can be easily integrated into any DCIM (data center infrastructure building management). The new UPS system can work with or without a neutral line, which helps reduce the installation costs of the distribution system. NextEnergy, in fact, can be used in systems that do not require the use of a neutral line. The new 600 kVA UPS system brings best-in-class performance, such as unity power factor, load power capacity up to 40° C without power derating, extraordinary efficiency up to 97 percent in double conversion mode (ON LINE), and up to 99 percent in ECO, ACTIVE ECO or SMART ACTIVE operating modes.
