In a major development, NTT DATA, a leading global provider of data center and cloud service providers, has struck a definitive agreement to acquire Udupi-headquartered Niveus Solutions, a premier partner of Google Cloud in India. This is a significant planned acquisition of an Indian company by Japan’s NTT Group.
The acquisition accelerates NTT DATA’s strategy to expand its cloud capabilities to meet the global demand for transformative cloud solutions across industries and solidifies the company as a leading global system integrator for Google Cloud.
Once the transaction is closed, Niveus Solutions, will add 1,000 GCP (Google Cloud Platform) engineering professionals with expertise in GCP native modernization, data engineering and AI to enhance NTT DATA’s Google Cloud Business Unit.
