Iris Global inks distribution agreement with highly affordable PC manufacturer RDP in India
Digital Edge Bureau 29 Dec, 2021 0 comment(s)In a significant development, Hyderabad-based RDP Workstations, a manufacturer of highly affordable computer products in India, has signed a distribution agreement with the Sanjiv Krishen led Iris Global Services. Under the terms of the tie-up, the Delhi-headquartered Iris Global Services would be distributing RDP’s entire range of AIO (all-in-one) desktops in the country. Affordability and high-quality of products are the key attributes of RDP. The company is a leading manufacturer of AIOs, laptops, micro PCs, workstations, tablets, thin clients, servers and computer accessories.
With Iris Global Services having its direct presence across the country – and bringing in its fold thousands of channel partners – this tie-up gives RDP a powerful access to the enterprise IT market in India. Also, this freshly minted alliance brings in significant benefits to Iris Global Services as it can easily address the growing market for Make-in-India products in the country. Most of the government projects being run by the Central Government as well as State Governments make it mandatory to integrate more of Make-in-India products into their projects. Now, RDP being an Indian IT brand gives immense leverage to Iris Global Services, and its channel partners, for handling government projects quite easily.

After Wipro and HCL Infosystems shutting down their hardware manufacturing businesses, there are hardly any Indian hardware brands left, which could harp on the emerging requirements for Make-in-India products. So, for RDP and Iris Global Services, this is a great time to be in the Indian market with right products at cost-efficient prices. Quite recently, RDP has been awarded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MIETY), Govt of India, at the 75th year, Azadi Ka Amrit Utsav held in New Delhi for manufacturing under the AtmaNirbhar Bharat initiative.
“Iris Global Services is delighted to associate with RDP. We see tremendous scope and opportunity especially for their AIO desktops. We think RDP’s products have got great potential to mobilize the entire channel ecosystem in the country,” said Sanjiv Krishen, Founder & CMD, Iris Global Services. “We’ve Neena Vats, our Vice President, driving this business, and under her leadership, we’re confident this relationship can go to greater heights,” added Krishen.
