In India, the COFE brand of wireless routers, especially SIM-based 4G routers (now 5G routers), are quite popular. One can find COFE wireless routers in every nook and corner of the country. Now, the company (Cofe Impex), which owns the COFE brand, has heavily diversified into the field of video security & surveillance by offering network cameras, DVDs (digital video recorders) and NVRs (network video recorders). So, enjoying its formal entry into the realm of digital security & surveillance, the company has participated in a big way at the IFSEC 2023 Expo & Exhibition being held from 7th to 9th December 2023 at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
While, showcasing its wide repertoire of network cameras at the IFSEC 2023, Cofe Impex has also made use of the event for launching its solar cameras and dome cameras fitted with public address systems (PAs) or speakers. The company has also chosen the IFSEC platform for unveiling its UPS systems for powering CCTV cameras and wireless routers. “We’ve used the IFSEC 2023 bastion for formally unveiling our solar cameras, dome cameras integrated with speakers as well as UPS systems. These products have meaningfully expanded our security & surveillance product portfolio,” said Harish Goyal, Director, Cofe Impex Pvt Ltd.
Interacting with Digital Edge, Goyal further elaborated, “The UPS systems, which we’ve launched at the IFSEC 2023, can give back-up power to cameras and allied routers up to 7-16 hours, which is sufficient to keep the surveillance systems up and running till the grid electricity gets restored. On the other hand, the solar cameras integrated with battery can function smoothly for hours during any unfortunate power-cuts.”
Within the network camera segment, the company offers robo-cams, bullet cameras and dome cameras – including the just launched dome cameras fitted with speakers. Cofe Impex also offers DVRs and NVRs, which go along with its cameras. However, the company is keen to broaden its security & surveillance product line-ups further. “In a year’s time, we’re going to launch very innovative and exciting PoE switches in the Indian market, which would further expand our product offerings”, said Goyal.
By now, Cofe Impex has developed a large network of channel partners, who are standing ready for handling its security & surveillance products. “Across India, we’ve got large channel assets consisting of 15 regional distributors (RDs) and over 1,000 dedicated retailers. They’re the ones, who would be taking the COFE security & surveillance products to the end-customers here in India,” said Goyal. However, Goyal invites new partners to join his security & surveillance bandwagons.
With regard to responses of visitors to COFE stall at the IFSEC 2023 Expo & Exhibition, Goyal said that he was thrilled to entertain huge number of serious visitors – many of them channel partners coming in from across the country. “We’ve taken the right decision for taking an active participation at the IFSEC 2023. We would surely be at the IFSEC event next year. We’ll be launching many innovative products then,” said the exuberant Goyal.
