With the deployment of Radware’s DefensePro DDoS protection systems, Berger Paints defends its information infrastructure against fast-moving, high-volume and encrypted cyberattacks
Radware, one of the leading providers of cyber security and application delivery solutions, has announced that Berger Paints, one of the largest paint companies in India, has chosen Radware’s DefensePro systems for protecting its network against DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) attacks.
In response to an increase in suspicious network traffic, the company wanted to strengthen its security defenses. After evaluating other solutions, it turned to Radware for its advanced behavioral-based detection, automated real-time signature generation, and ability to defend against zero-day attacks. The multinational paint company, which has more than 3,600 employees, manages a distribution network of more than 25,000 dealers.

According to Radware’s 2022 Global Threat Analysis Report, malicious DDoS attacks rose by 150 percent compared to 2021. The frequency of DDoS attacks also saw a significant and concerning uptick. Globally, organizations mitigated an average of 29 attacks per day during the fourth quarter of 2022, 3.5 times more compared to 8 attacks per day at the end of 2021.
