This is eloquently corroborated by the bumper $10 Billion revenue yields India’s HCL Technologies has accrued in the troubled year.
The company deeply appreciates the contribution made by its employees globally in achieving such an impressive revenue performance. Now, this is the bonus time. Yes, HCL Infosystems has come out with a mega bonus totaling over $90 Million (some Rs 700 Crore) for its employees spread across many geographies of the world. Employees would be getting 10 days of one-time bonus on top of their monthly salaries. The special bonus will be paid to employees in February 2021, and the impact of which is excluded from the FY21 EBIT guidance provided by the company last month.
“Our employees are our most valuable asset. Despite an unrelenting pandemic, each and every member of our HCL family has demonstrated immense commitment and passion, contributing to the growth of the organization. The $10B revenue milestone is a testament of our remarkable resilience as an organization and the entrepreneurial spirit of our 159,000-plus employees. With this gesture, we want to sincerely express our gratitude to our employees and their families for all their support”, said Apparao VV, Chief Human Resources Officer, HCL Technologies.
Achieving this historic milestone in technology, business and engineering services and software – just twenty years since HCL Technologies’ IPO – is a testament to the passionate efforts and consistent achievements of its employees and deep relationships with leading companies across all industries and a leading network of partners and stakeholders.
For India, steering through challenges hurled at by COVID-19, HCL Technologies’ seminal revenue performance is a heartening news. The bonus rendered to employees would reinvigorate the zeal of IT industry as a whole to perform even better.
