MOBOTIX’s IoT enabled S74 camera carries up to four modules, which allow greater flexibility than any other MOBOTIX video system

In a significant move, the company has expanded its MOBOTIX7 video platform by introducing high-performance IoT S74 camera that includes up to four modules, which allow for more flexibility than any other MOBOTIX video system. With its concealed camera housing, the camera acts exceptionally discreetly. Only the modules in the various mounts are visible.

Equipped with connection cables up to three meters long, these optical, thermal and functional modules can be placed anywhere and, for example, can be connected simultaneously in several directions, around corners or in different rooms – inside and outside. The S74 can also access already integrated camera apps that can be expanded almost indefinitely. That makes the video system universally suitable for any imaginable requirement in the most diverse industries.
The Ultra LowLight 4MP Day & Night sensor module with automatic day/night switching. The Ultra LowLight technology can produce brilliant images, even in minimal lighting conditions, while faithfully reproducing the colors. That is important, for example, when identifying vehicles or persons, even in the darkest of areas. The modules also have shorter exposure times, significantly increasing the objects’ sharpness moving through the twilight image. The excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SRV) of 0.19 demonstrates the impressing brilliance of the ultra low light sensors. That corresponds to a four times higher light sensitivity compared to a 4K UHD module.
Artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning processes are drivers of the MOBOTIX7 video solution platform. The many special video analysis apps provide users in all industries with intelligent and cost-effective tools to cover relevant and current requirements, specifically in their everyday work. Solutions that do not yet exist can be redesigned to suit individual requirements. Thus, the platform is explicitly open for self-developed apps from MOBOTIX partners and customers – which means that new solutions are constantly being created to meet even the most innovative requirements.
With MOBOTIX7, MOBOTIX offers its global technology partners the ideal platform for developing their own creativity. The partners can implement unique solutions for their customers, which can also be certified by MOBOTIX, in conjunction with the intelligent MOBOTIX camera systems. “We’re ready for any technological challenge that may arise in a company or institution”, says Hartmut Sprave, CTO, MOBOTIX. “This opens up completely new revenue models for our partners.
