The AI Education Lab is based on the high-end AI-optimized HP desktops, which are powered by Intel and nVIDIA. The AI Education Lab is located at the Knowledge Centre, which is housed within the newly constructed Active Learning Block of the University.
Situated in the Greater Noida region of the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP), Galgotias University has massively embarked on automating its teaching, learning, researching and administering processes. This is interesting to know that Delta IT Network has been a constant tech companion of Galgotias University, where it keeps on providing the requisite IT solutions to it. During that period, we’ve provided IT products & solutions worth Rs 20 Crore it. In the coming one and half years time, we expect to reach the Rs 50 Crore mark,” informed Chauhan.
Also, this is in the active plan of the University to establish a high performance computing (HPC) Lab on the campus. For that Chauhan is very excited about. “We’ve chalked out a comprehensive plan to set up an HPC Lab at the University. We’ve planned to deploy HP Enterprise servers and network storage systems at the proposed HPC Lab,” said he.
In the last three years, the company has supplied over 2,000 HP desktops to Galgotias University along with some 800 pieces of interactive displays of Samsung and LG make. “We see a rapid expansion of IT footprints in the University taking place. We hope to deploy another 1,000 HP desktops there in the year 2025 itself,” said Chauhan. Moreover, apart from dektops, laptops and interactive displays, the company has also provided an array of networking gears to the University. “We’ve deployed the campus wide wireless networking solution with HPE Aruba Networking products. We keep on innovating the overall IT infrastructure of Galgotias University to the global standards,” informed Chauhan.
